How it works

  1. Water passes through a five-micron carbon sediment prefilter which helps to remove any extremely small particles and sediment down to 1/16th the diameter of a human hair to protect the system's membrane and other components. It also removes unwanted taste, odour, chlorine and sediment.
  2. The next stage forces water through a reverse osmosis (RO) semipermeable membrane, leaving behind heavy metals and compounds such as lead and nitrates to be flushed to drain.
  3. The water is then stored in a water storage tank. A choice of tanks to suit your requirements provides you with the water you want on demand.
  4. When you switch on the countertop tap, the water then passes through the patented MACguard Filter™ which provides an extra polish and is the final stage of filtration. Ensuring the highest quality drinking water flows from the tap as well as preventing overuse of the system.
  5. A lead free tap is supplied with the unit in a sleek modern design which mounts easily onto the sink or countertop.Taps are available in a variety of finishes as an optional extra.
